Huco, A Montrose Company assisted Rivian in a successful end-to-end journey for an EMIS transition. We first conducted a health check that covered both qualitative and quantitative measures that helped us identify gaps in our existing EMIS. We were then able to utilize this information to facilitate productive discussions with the vendor on identified gaps and in parallel, initiate a streamlined selection project to Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors with Huco’s help. While that process was ongoing, we were able to further assess and build out a system agnostic systems and strategy roadmap that would set us up for the coming changes, regardless of our vendor decision. This process took the better part of a year, but each step culminated to what ultimately ended up as approval from all levels of leadership, IT, Finance and Procurement to switch to a system that better fit our needs. Huco was extremely impactful in the entire process given their levels of expertise and years of experience.
